Tulip Air, an air charter company which was established in 1988, started it’s operation with 1 Piper Chieftain, the PH-GYN (which was unfortunately damaged beyound repair during a storm in Esjberg in 1999, luckily while parked on the ramp).

In 1998 Tulip Air Charter was formed to operate Fokker F27‘s and Airbus A300‘s as a freight operation wet leasing to the French Post and DHL.

By 2000 Tulip Air operated 2 King Air 200’s, 6 Piper Chieftains and 2 Cessna 172’s when the company was split in Tulip Air and Farnair Europe due to a management buy-out of Tulip Air.

In 2001 a Jetstream and the Cessna 406 were added to the Tulip Air fleet as was a Beechjet under management. Unfortunately Tulip Air had to cease its flight operations in 2004.

The company now offers potential owners assistance in aircraft acquisition and aircraft owners / operators assistance in any aviation department using it’s own expertise or that of its network specializing in general aviation.
